The New York Social Network (NYSN) has been planning events in and around the city since 2004! There is something to choose from almost every night and several options each weekend! It can be hard to figure out which ones may be best for you, especially if you have never been out before. If you are new to the group or a long time member, this is a fun night to meet others and find out what what we have planned in the coming months. NYSN staff members will be on hand to welcome all New Members and introduce you to our long time members. You will enjoy a drink special and lot's of room to socialize network and connect. This will also be a great opportunity to see what we have in store for the coming season and get into the spirit of the holidays.
How it works & what to expect:
- We have the entire back lounge of The Lobby Bar at The Royalton Hotel reserved with lot's of room to sit or wander around while meeting others.
- Other Meet Up and Social Networking groups/organizations often invite their members so you also get to network with people from similar groups.
- There will be a drink special all night
- Music played at conversational levels
- Several holiday themed interactive activities to get you mingling with others at the party with prizes!
This event is "ageless". There will be people mostly 20's-40's (fairly evenly distributed for each peer group). With close to 100 attendees you will have no problem finding people your own age who you have things in common with.
Cost: $15 in advance $20 at the door. (Free for NYSN VIP Members)
Can I come alone? Yes, 98% of those attending this event will likely register on their own. You welcome to bring as many non member guests, friends & co workers as you’d like, just make sure to register for the number of people that you want below. Our staff will be ready to greet you and introduce you to others whether you are on your own or with guests.
Do I need a ticket? Unless otherwise instructed, if you registered and paid for this event or registered with a voucher your name will be on a list at the door. If you register within 3 hours of the event it is best to bring proof of payment. If registering with a voucher follow the instruction on the voucher.
Dress Code: At all events we ask that you use your best judgement based on the event. There are never jackets and ties required unless specifically stated. Keep it neat, be yourself and look your best always.
How will I find the group? We will send you a confirmation email with exact locations, contact info and names of those who are hosting the event when you register for the event and send follow up emails as we get closer.
Ages: 21+ Most of our events attract 20’s -40’s although some events can skew younger or older (50’s) depending on the event. Some events are clearly age specific as indicated. If this is an issue for you contact Dave at the address below and we can usually give you a very accurate idea of what to expect. This event is mostly 20's -40's.

General Admission is $15.00 in advance (NYSN VIP Members are free) $20 at the door
This event is nonrefundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled.
