Join us as we take an adventure through a beautiful winter wonderland with a fun group of members and friends. A snowshoe is footwear for walking over the snow. Snowshoes work by distributing the weight of the person over a larger area so that the person's foot does not sink completely into the snow, a quality called "flotation". We have selected a pristine location for a winter hike that you won't forget. Your day will begin at Columbus Circle where our van and your guide will pick you up. From there it is off to a beautiful nature preserve about 75 minutes north of NYC for a 2 hour journey through a snow covered forest. Following our hike we will go for hot chocolate. You will be back in NYC no later than 4pm.
